Description: Hyphae superficial, brown, septate, smooth, 23 (4) m wide, abundant. Ascoma thyriothecioid, elongate, sometimes bifurcate, 200350 100200 m; scutellum composed of rows of dark brown cells 36 35 m, ostiole an elongate split; paraphyses present. Asci subglobose to broadly ellipsoid, 2444 2132 m, 8-spored. Ascospores hyaline at first, becoming pale brown and minutely verruculose, 1-septate, septum more or less median, constricted at the septum, broadly ellipsoidal to somewhat obovoid, 1724 712 m
Anamorph unknown.
