Description: Hyphae olivaceous to pale brown, 1򉣸 祄 wide, sparse. Ascoma thyriothecioid, simple or branched, sometimes confluent, straight, 300400 60120 祄; scutellum opaque at the centre, composed of reddish-brown oblong cells at the non-fimbriate margin. Asci broadly ellipsoid to broadly obovoid, 1620 813 祄. Ascospores broadly ellipsoid, hyaline to pale brown, 1-septate, slightly constricted at the submedian septum, often minutely and distantly verruculose, 810 34 祄
Anamorph conidiomata pycnothyrioid, orbicular, up to 100 祄 diam.; scutellum composed of straw-coloured to pale brown, quadrangular cells. Conidiophores not seen. Conidiogenous cells not seen. Conidia hyaline, cylindrical, 23 0򉣷 祄.
