Description: Hyphae superficial, pale yellow to sub-hyaline, 1򉣸5 祄 wide. Ascoma thyriothecioid, amphigenous, orbicular, 90120 祄 diam.; scutellum composed of radiating rows of pale brown, irregularly quadrilateral cells 34 48 祄; those surrounding the ostiole not forming a distinct collar, those at the margin divided and rounded or lobed but not forming a distinct fringe; ostiole 68 祄 diam. Asci scanty, obclavate to ellipsoid, 2330 811 祄, 8-spored. Ascospores hyaline, 1-septate, broadly ellipsoid, 811 2򉣹5 祄, the upper cell longer and broader that the lower cell, biguttulate, bearing medianly four appendages in two tufts connected by a short dark thread
